Continue a holiday tradition with the Observer-Reporter and join the community for an evening of family and fun at our eighth annual Holiday Market.
We’re so excited to bring you horse and carriage rides, food trucks, photos with Santa, an expanded kids’ area, and other upcoming surprises!
Festivities begin at the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington until the start of the parade. The pavilion will be transformed into a winter wonderland packed full of shopping, food, children’s activities and live holiday entertainment.

Parade Route: The parade will embark at Franklin and Chestnut and make a right turn onto Main Street to the railroad tracks. Staging will take place on Chestnut, Franklin, and Walnut/Washington High School. On-street parking will be limited and closed off in these areas.

Parking: The best available will be at the City Garage, which costs $1 for 2 hours. Surface and city lots are free after 5 p.m.

Business: Many businesses will be open later and have specials throughout the day and during the parade.
