Continue a holiday tradition with the Observer-Reporter and join the community for an evening of family and fun at our seventh annual Holiday Market.
We’re so excited to bring you horse and carriage rides, food trucks, photos with Santa, an expanded kids’ area, and other upcoming surprises!
Festivities begin at the Community Pavilion in downtown Washington on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at 2 p.m. until the start of the parade. The pavilion will be transformed into a winter wonderland packed full of shopping, food, children’s activities and live holiday entertainment.

Friday 4-7 p.m. & Saturday 10-7 p.m.
Downtown Washington
- Friday, November 29 – The Lemoyne House Gardens
- 4-7 p.m.: Light Up at Lemoyne, presented by The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Promotion Agency.
- Enjoy food vendors, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a special performance by JFK Catholic School.
- 4-7 p.m.: Light Up at Lemoyne, presented by The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Promotion Agency.
- Saturday, November 30 – Downtown Washington
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Small Business Saturday, presented by Washington Financial Bank.
- Start your day with a Breakfast Crawl, explore the Kids Area, ride the Trolley Shuttle and enjoy a Puppet Show and local specials from participating shops.
- 1-3 p.m.: Historic Homes Trolley Tour
- Hourly tours of historic homes (pick-up at the Lemoyne House).
- 2-7 p.m.: Holiday Market presented by Cricket.
- Stroll the Main Street Pavilion to find vendors, visit Santa, enjoy local performers and take carriage rides.
- 3-6 p.m.: Candy Cane Lane, presented by Pennsylvania American Water.
- A fun children’s activity trail with crafts, activities and snacks throughout downtown!
- 7 p.m.: The Washington Christmas Parade
- Wrap up your day with the parade, featuring festive floats and holiday spirit.
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Small Business Saturday, presented by Washington Financial Bank.

Parade Route: The parade will embark at Franklin and Chestnut and make a right turn onto Main Street to the railroad tracks. Staging will take place on Chestnut, Franklin, and Walnut/Washington High School. On-street parking will be limited and closed off in these areas.

Parking: The best available will be at the City Garage, which costs $1 for 2 hours. Surface and city lots are free after 5 p.m.

Business: Many businesses will be open later and have specials throughout the day and during the parade.
